One would argue that since Facebook has a password, it would be harder to hack. Due to the SS7 flaw, the hacker will not need your Facebook Password. Just like in the cases of Whatsapp and Telegram, the telecom network is duped into believing you have the victim’s phone number. Yours will be an easy task of clicking on ‘Forgot Password’.

Facebook will prompt you to enter an email address or phone number to change the password. You will provide the owner’s legitimate number. A password reset code will be sent to your number. Get the New Pixel Launcher from Android O On Almost Any Phone Just days after the first Android O preview build was released, the development community had already started bringing some of the exclusive features over to older Android versions. For instance, the Pixel Launcher received an update in Android O, and developer linuxct quickly ported the new version to work on devices running Marshmallow or higher, and even managed to do so without requiring root.

Not much has changed in the new version of the Pixel Launcher, so the biggest difference you'd notice is that you can now open the app drawer by swiping up from anywhere, as opposed to having to start your swipe from the dock at the bottom of the screen. So if you want to update your existing Pixel Launcher installation, or even if you'd just like to try it for the first time, we've got you covered.

Update (May 23, 2017): linuxct has updated this mod by porting the Pixel Launcher from the first public beta version of Android O. The basic features are all the same, but it's a slightly newer version and several bugs have been squashed, so we've linked to the new mod below.

Installing the New Pixel Launcher

First up, if you have an older version of the ported Pixel Launcher installed on your device, you'll need to uninstall it before you do anything else. As a heads up, this also includes the early leaked version, which was called "Nexus Launcher," so search through your installed apps for both names and make sure they get removed.

With that out of the way, go ahead and download the APK, which, again, should work on almost any device as long as it's running Android Marshmallow or higher.

• Download the ported Pixel Launcher (.apk)

From there, just enable "Unknown sources" in Settings, then launch the APK and press "Install" when prompted. After that's done, tap your home button, then choose Pixel Launcher from the list.

If you're not rooted, that's all there is to it. Installing the Pixel Launcher without root access will give you most of the features, but note that the integrated Google page on the home screen will not be available.

If you are rooted, however, you can get the integrated Google page by converting the Pixel Launcher into a system app. To do that, install an app called Link2SD, then open it up and grant root access. From there, long press the Pixel Launcher entry in the list, then choose "Convert to System App," and reboot when prompted.

It should be noted that, while most users report that the app runs without errors, the Pixel Launcher may crash the first few times you use it, depending on your phone. If this happens, I've noticed that a quick reboot seems to clear up the problem, so it shouldn't be a long-term issue.

Regardless of how you installed it, Pixel Launcher is a sleek-looking home screen app with several unique features—most notably, an app drawer that's tucked away neatly behind the aforementioned swipe gesture, which means there's one less icon in your dock. What Is A Computer Virus?

A Computer Virus is a malicious software program “Malware” that can infect a computer by modifying or deleting data files, boot sector of a hard disk drive or causes a software program to work in an unexpected manner”.

A computer virus resides on a host computer and can replicate itself when executed. Virus can steal user data, delete or modify files & documents, records keystrokes & web sessions of a user. It can also steal or damage hard disk space, it can slowdown CPU processing.

Activation of Virus

When the computer virus starts working, it is called the activation of virus. A virus normally runs all the time in the computer. Different viruses are activated in different ways. Many viruses are activated on a certain data. For example, a popular virus “Friday, the 13^th” is activated only if the date is 13 and the day is Friday.

According to Wikipedia “Computer viruses cause billions of dollars’ worth of economic damage each year, due to causing systems failure, wasting computer resources, corrupting data, increasing maintenance costs, etc”.

These websites are developed to spread viruses or other unethical material. The virus is transferred to the user’s computer when this material is downloaded. Virus can spread if an infected computer is connected to a network. The internet is an example of such network. When a user downloads a file infected with virus from the internet, the virus is copied to the computer. It may infect the files stored on the computer.

Pirated Software

An illegal copy of software is called pirated software. Virus can spread if user installs pirated software that contains a virus. A variety of pirated software is available in CDs and from the internet. Some companies intentionally add virus in the software. The virus is automatically activated if the user uses the software without purchasing license.

It is a worm that infects a computer running Microsoft IIS server. This virus launched DOS attack on White House’s website. It allows the hacker to access the infected computer remotely.

Nimba

It is a worm that spreads itself using different methods. IT damages computer in different ways. It modified files, alters security settings and degrades performance.

SirCam

It is distributed as an email attachment. It may delete files, degrade performance and send the files to anyone.

Melisa

It is a virus that is distributed as an email attachment. IT disables different safeguards in MS Word. It sends itself to 50 people if Microsoft Outlook is installed..

Ripper

It corrupts data from the hard disk.

MDMA

It is transferred from one MS Word file to other if both files are in memory.

Concept

It is also transferred as an email attachment. It saves the file in template directory instead of its original location.

One_Half

It encrypts hard disk so only the virus may read the data. It displays One_Half on the screen when the encryption is half completed.
